BISD has formed a partnership with South Texas Food Bank, HOPE Outreach Center, and Kids Cafe to offer an afterschool program for 50 students. The program includes bus transportation from school (at dismissal) to Kids Cafe. Students may participate in various enrichment activities, complete homework (internet is available), and eat dinner at Kids Cafe. A parent or guardian must pick up the student(s) between 5:45 and 6:15 PM. The program runs Monday through Friday and participating students will be expected to attend each day they are in school. Please complete the form below if you would like to participate. There is NO cost to you or your child for this program. The After School Program will begin September 19, 2022 and you will be notified no later than September 15, if your child(ren) was chosen to participate. Please complete form by September 12, 2022.
