1.2 These terms apply to all BISD staff, students, and authorized users who access or use BISD’s email, network, or online systems.
1.3 By using any BISD-provided communication tool, users acknowledge that they understand and agree to comply with these terms.

2. Use of BISD Communication Systems

2.1 BISD provides communication systems—including email, websites, file-sharing tools, and online forms—for educational, administrative, and operational purposes.
2.2 All communications transmitted through BISD systems are considered district records and may be monitored, archived, or disclosed under applicable laws and regulations.
2.3 Users agree to:

  1. Use BISD systems primarily for professional and educational purposes.
  2. Communicate respectfully, accurately, and in alignment with district policy.
  3. Avoid transmitting confidential information to unauthorized recipients.
  4. Protect account credentials and immediately report suspected misuse.
    4.1 Personal use of BISD systems is permitted only when incidental and must not interfere with district business or network performance.
    4.2 Use of BISD systems constitutes consent to monitoring and acknowledgement of all district policies governing technology use.

3. Confidentiality of Communications

3.1 All emails and attachments sent from BISD email accounts may contain confidential or legally privileged information.
3.2 These messages are intended solely for the use of the designated recipient(s). If you have received a BISD email in error, you must:

  1. Notify the sender immediately.
  2. Delete the message and any attachments.
  3. Refrain from copying, disclosing, or distributing its contents.
    3.3 Unauthorized review, use, or dissemination of BISD communications is strictly prohibited and may result in disciplinary or legal action.
    3.4 By using BISD communication systems, you agree that BISD may review, log, and retain electronic communications as permitted by law.

4.1 BISD makes every effort to ensure the accuracy and currency of information available through its websites and online services.
4.2 BISD does not guarantee the completeness, reliability, or suitability of website content, and information is provided “as is” without warranty.

6.2 Changes will be posted on the official BISD website, and continued use of BISD systems after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
