Superintendent's Message

Welcome to the end of another incredible and incredibly busy school year at Brackett ISD. I am proud to be able to serve as your Interim Superintendent as we wrap up the academic year. A huge thanks to an important variable in each classroom, hallways, and grounds; our Faculty and Staff!!! Thank you for the countless hours you give to make BISD one of the best districts in this Region.

Academically, we had another stellar year. Obviously, we still do not have all of our STAAR Resuts in but those that have arrived are some of the best results we have seen. They are an indication of the hard work put forth by students, parents, and teachers. Congratulations to all especially those who participated in UIL Academics. What a showcase of academic talent.

Our Athletes and Coaches also had a successful year as they represented BISD at various competitive levels in various sports. Congratulations on the recognitions received during our Athletic Banquet and for representing us at the State Level.

Congratulations to our One Act Play "Golden Boy" crew for bringing home the Gold. We are extremely proud of them for being our State Champions. Our Fine Arts play an important role in education and BISD is fortunate to have students interested and teachers ready to guide them. Congratulations to our Art students for also representing us at the state level.

What a great year for BISD. We hope that 2017-2018 will be just as successful. As we close the academic year, I would like to encourage you to visit our website for announcements in preparation for the 2017-2018 School Year. We hope to welcome our new Superintendent of Schools this Summer.
