You will be creating a Business Card, Letter head, and Envelope for a favorite Logo that you will create FIRST. You can pick any type of business and name to use for your logo/company. You will create your logo in Adobe Illustrator. This is a small part of the grade, so don't spend your entire time designing your logo!

Semester Exam 1 in Google Classroom

Semester Exam 1

Class for your Semester Exam , you will need to use everything you have learned this far to create a Magical Christmas Card or Christmas Landscape. It has to show creativity. I will be grading very strongly on this. If you need to refer back to past worksheets or projects to help you, please do so. Once you have finished, submit your work here and if you like, you can also print them out via Posterprinter. It should be in the classroom or across the hall in Room 40. Have your substitute help you with that.

How to Brochures in Google Classroom

How to Brochures

We will create a funny brochures on how to survive something using in Photoshop and in InDesign. You must have your topic approved by Scales before you can begin. Once you have your topic approved, you will need to sketch your brochure plan. Be Creative! Think of a new way to create something so traditional. How can you make it different?

You will need to include the following things:


2 pages with landscape orientation
.25 margins on all sides
Cover Panel with title and graphic
Use 3 columns with .25 gutter
Must use text block outside column on one page
Appropriate font/style/size
Consistent headings
Color Scheme (2 or 3 colors)


Layout
Image quality
Font choice
Color selection/theme
Readability

While we are creating our designs using InDesign, we want to ensure that we are staying as organized as possible. Using the Layers panel effectively is a great way to increase your productivity. In this activity, you will use the directions located on Page 1 to organize the 2 Cookbook page spreads. This will also have your group objects, adjust your layers, and more!

Download the folder of Yearbook images, you will not have to use all of these. Your page should not only have a clean and organized layout, but good design as well. Remember that a Yearbook page should utilize the ENTIRE page, leaving no blank spaces and going all the way to the edge of the page.

For the next 4 assignments you will be working with getting familiar with TEXT in inDESIGN!  Open it in InDesign to find each activity you need to complete. This is just an assignment to get started with, review of what you should know already. There is an example of what I expect with great creativity as you all are certified photoshop users.
