Class for your Semester Exam , you will need to use everything you have learned this far to create a Magical Christmas Card or Christmas Landscape. It has to show creativity. I will be grading very strongly on this. If you need to refer back to past worksheets or projects to help you, please do so. Once you have finished, submit your work here and if you like, you can also print them out via Posterprinter. It should be in the classroom or across the hall in Room 40. Have your substitute help you with that.

Typography Poster Project 1
You will choose a quote or proverb (something short) to create a poster stylizing/animating the words/text in order to create a powerful poster that reflects the words and meaning. You will use a combination of text and images to design the quote. Your poster should be highly imaginative and stylized. Portions of the letters or words should be substituted for images. You may still use text boxes, but you need to be extremely creative with your font choices, effects, gradients, etc.... You may also use other images outside of the text, BUT the text should be the main focus of the poster and not interfere with the message. Your goal is to create a poster someone would want to hang on their wall. Use the examples as inspiration.

Today we will be mastering how to use, edit and create Symbols, Adjust transparency on an object and use Blend Modes, how to Wrap text, and last how to use and adjust Styles using the Graphics Styles and the Appearance Panel. Many of these skills will be on the certification test!

This is just an assignment to get started with, review of what you should know already. There is an example of what I expect with great creativity as you all are experienced photoshop users.
