Hotspots

For students who have NO other means for getting wireless Internet service at home, BISD will allow a family to check out a district provided hotspot (when available).    

• Hotspots may NOT leave your home in Kinney County. 
• If you adjust settings in the hot spot, we may deactivate the hotspot and it will NOT be reactivated for you. 
• If your hotspot incurs roaming charges, it will be deactivated. The school will NOT provide you with another device, and you will be financially responsible for all roaming charges. 
• Hotspots must be returned when no longer needed or at the end of the school year. 
• Students will be charged the cost of the hotspot if not returned ($100.00).
• If a hotspot is deactivated, parents will be responsible for providing Internet service for their student(s).
